About the Academy

The purpose of the Academy is to explain why so many people who are willing and able to work, are unable to exchange their labor for the products and services of other people’s labor (including the periodic increases associated with recessions and depressions); the reason why wages do not increase with all the technological advances which increase the results of labor; why the cost of housing constantly increases, while the amount of labor it takes to build housing tends to diminish; why cities become distressed with slums and a shrinking tax base; and how to create full employment (without recessions), rising wages, affordable housing, and an abundance of revenue for the increasing needs of social growth.
